SESAME TUNA NICOISE SALAD
When I was a teenager, I went to France for the first time. I remember sitting in a little cafe and my mom ordered a Nicoise salad. Apart from the anchovies, it was like heaven. All the veggies were crisp and you could design each bite exactly how you wanted it.
JACK’S WIFE FREDA COPYCAT TUNA SALAD
Some of my best friends love this salad, but every time you order a tuna salad in front of a new person, you wonder if they think you’re the weird kid on the block. Frankly, I’ve had whole conversations about how tuna salad is underrated. So here’s our case to prove it.
SONOMA CHICKEN SALAD
I am a chicken salad girl. Take me to any grocery store and I am finding their chicken salad and judging hard core. Yes, I said judging because I do have limits.
CHARLIE BIRD’S FARRO SALAD
Charlie Bird has become somewhat of a downtown NYC staple. You can never outdo your restaurant faves, nor should you! But, when I had this salad, I couldn’t wait to go there again to have it. Naturally during lockdown, I had to figure out a way to make it from home!
THE NEW YORK CITY BODEGA CHOPPED SALAD
Why is this called the Bodega Chopped Salad? Well first things first, it’s chopped. Like, really chopped. So, if you’re not from the tristate area, a bodega is a glorified convenience store. But, when I tell you a lot of them put out some of the best food in the city, I’m not lying.
CHICKEN CAESAR SALAD WRAP
When it’s summer time a crisp salad is sometimes just the thing to get you through, even when you’re too hot to eat. But there’s something about a Caesar salad that just hits a little bit harder. The cold, crunchy romaine is the key.
BRUSSELS SPROUT AND BROCCOLI SALAD WITH AVOCADO, DIJON DRESSING
I cannot explain to you how much I love this salad. First of all, it’s made of two of my favorite things: brussels sprouts and broccoli. Second of all, this avocado dijon dressing is not only super flavorful, but also really creamy and thick.
